Bayern Munich 2-1 Real Madrid: Kane Fires Tottenham to Champions League Final

Kane Stuns Real Madrid with Penalty Winner

Bayern Munich's Champions League hopes were extinguished on Wednesday night as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-final second leg.

Harry Kane scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 57th minute after Sergio Reguilon was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. It was a cruel blow for Bayern, who had dominated the match and created numerous chances but failed to take them.

Vinicius Junior had given Real Madrid the lead in the 34th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box. Bayern equalized through Robert Lewandowski in the 50th minute, but Kane's penalty proved to be the decisive moment.

Tottenham will now face Liverpool in the Champions League final on June 1st in Madrid. It will be their first appearance in the final since 2019, when they were beaten by Liverpool 2-0.
